No, we do not. Unfortunately, Oklahoma is not a place that is good for growing Olives.
The Olives are from Tunisia which is a very large Olive growing area in the mediterranean.
The grapes for the Balsamics are from Modena Italy.
Both products are made from Grape Must (crushed Trebbiano and Lambrusco grapes) blended with Wine Vinegar. Dark Balsamic has the grape must cooked down and water evaporates to reduce the must at a temperature at which the natural sugars will caramelize. It is then blended with red wine vinegar.
White Balsamic has the grape must cooked down and reduced in a vacuum chamber. Water evaporates at a lower temperature in a vacuum. Therefore, the natural sugars do not get hot enough to caramelize and turn dark. White wine vinegar is then blended with the grape must. White balsamic is actually more of a golden yellow color.
Freshness is the key to taste in Olive Oil and after a one year shelf life you will begin to lose that fresh taste. However, how your olive oil is stored can have a great impact on the shelf life of your olive oil.
Balsamic vinegar can last 12–18 months after opening if you use and cap it regularly. Producers usually put a 5 year “best by” date on the bottle. In actuality, there is balsamic vinegar available for sale that is over 100 years old. But, of course, that is for bottles that have been unopened. Balsamic Vinegar contains natural preservatives – sugar, acid, and sulfites.
It should not be stored in the refrigerator. Both Olive oil and Balsamic Vinegars should be stored in a cool (70-75) dark place. Light and heat are 2 of the 3 primary enemies of Olive Oil. Bottled in dark containers is also important to shield Olive Oil from harmful UV Rays and light.
All natural, mainly liquid flavorings are used. Flavorings are stirred into the oil or balsamic just prior to bottling. No heat is used in the process. The EVOO uses EVOO based flavorings, the balsamic uses alcohol extract-based flavorings. Some products use dry spices which are blended in with an immersion blender. There are many complicated flavors and recipes. Flavorings are all-natural and vegan (plant based), many, not all, are organic.

Yes.
None of our products are USDA Certified Organic. However, the base evoo used for all of our flavored EVOO comes from Tunisia. 97% of all olive oil production in Tunisia is organic because many of the trees are old growth, hundreds of years old. Tunisia has been producing olive oil for thousands of years. The trees are “dry farmed” meaning there is no irrigation system, just rainfall. Applying any sort of fertilizers or herbicides would be expensive and it’s really not necessary. The trees are all harvested by hand with rakes and nets.
Our “Sweet Dragon” Balsamic Soy sauces have soy sauce with wheat as an ingredient. Everything else is naturally Gluten Free. We do not have any Gluten Free Certifications or paperwork.
Our Olive Oil is Star K Certified, but where it is made and bottled is not. We’ve had numerous customers purchase our products, knowing our products qualify as Kosher, just are not certified as Kosher.
Yes. We’ve made the effort to make sure all flavorings are sourced by only all-natural products and flavorings. None of our products have anything artificial. All of our flavorings are made from plant-based materials and therefore, they are also Vegan.
Yes. They are both vegetarian and vegan.
Extra virgin olive oil and pure olive oil are both made from olives, but they differ in terms of quality and production methods.
Extra virgin olive oil is made from pure, cold-pressed olives and has the highest quality. It is considered to be the purest and most flavorful form of olive oil. It must meet certain standards, such as having a free acidity level of no more than 0.8%, and must pass a taste test to be considered extra virgin.
Pure olive oil, on the other hand, is a blend of cold-pressed and processed olive oils. It is not as high quality as extra virgin olive oil and may have a less intense flavor. It is also typically less expensive than extra virgin olive oil.
In summary, extra virgin olive oil is considered the highest quality and has a stronger flavor, while pure olive oil is a blend of oils that does not meet the standards for extra virgin and has a milder taste.
Olive oil is a rich source of monounsaturated fats, antioxidants, and anti-inflammatory compounds. These beneficial compounds have been linked to a reduced risk of heart disease, lower blood pressure, and improved brain function. Olive oil is also a good source of vitamin E, an antioxidant that can help protect cells from damage. Additionally, it contains polyphenols, which have anti-inflammatory properties and may help protect against certain types of cancer. A diet rich in olive oil may also help to improve digestion and may even have anti-aging benefits. It’s important to note that olive oil is high in calories, so it should be used in moderation as part of a healthy diet.
Balsamic vinegar contains antioxidants, including polyphenols, which can help protect cells from damage. It has also been found to have anti-inflammatory properties, which may help reduce the risk of certain chronic diseases. Balsamic vinegar may also help lower blood sugar levels and improve insulin sensitivity. Additionally, it has been shown to have a positive impact on blood lipid levels and may even aid in weight loss. It is important to keep in mind that consuming balsamic vinegar in moderation is key, as excessive consumption can lead to tooth erosion and other side effects.
